Sustainability Commitment

Building secure, autonomous systems with environmental responsibility at the core.

Last Updated: February 18, 2026

CUI Labs (Pte.) Ltd., a Singapore-incorporated company, is committed to building mission-critical infrastructure with environmental responsibility at the core. This commitment extends across our operations, product design, and customer enablement — helping organizations achieve their security and sustainability goals simultaneously. We align our practices with Singapore's Green Plan 2030, international sustainability frameworks, and global carbon reduction initiatives.

01

Our Commitment

CUI Labs recognizes that building mission-critical infrastructure comes with environmental responsibility. We are committed to minimizing our carbon footprint while delivering quantum-safe, autonomous systems that help our customers operate more efficiently and sustainably.

02

Energy-Efficient Architecture

Our platform design prioritizes energy efficiency through optimized compute with efficient algorithms and data structures that minimize CPU cycles and memory usage, smart caching with multi-tier strategies that reduce redundant computations and network traffic, edge computing with distributed architecture that processes data closer to the source, and serverless functions with event-driven architecture that scales to zero when not in use.

03

Carbon-Aware Operations

We implement carbon-aware practices across our infrastructure including region selection by deploying services in AWS regions with lower carbon intensity and renewable energy sources, workload scheduling by running non-critical batch jobs during periods of higher renewable energy availability, and resource right-sizing by continuously monitoring and optimizing instance sizes to eliminate over-provisioning.

04

IACC — Industrial Carbon Accounting

Our industrial autonomy platform includes built-in carbon accounting hooks for LNG terminals, marine fleets, utilities grids, and aerospace operations. Customers can track real-time carbon emissions per industry pack, optimize operations to reduce unplanned downtime and waste, generate ESG reports with verifiable audit trails, and simulate scenarios to identify carbon reduction opportunities.

05

WAHH — ESG Automation

Our programmable finance platform integrates ESG automation and carbon accounting including carbon accounting for treasury operations and token lifecycle events, ESG compliance packs with automated reporting, support for carbon credit tokenization and trading, and transparent on-chain carbon footprint tracking.

06

QNSP — Efficient Security

Our security platform is designed for efficiency with optimized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms that minimize compute overhead, efficient searchable encryption that reduces storage and processing requirements, and smart enclave scheduling that maximizes GPU utilization and minimizes idle time.

07

Cloud Infrastructure

We partner with cloud providers committed to sustainability. AWS is committed to 100% renewable energy by 2025 and net-zero carbon by 2040. Our primary region ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) has renewable energy initiatives and aligns with Singapore's commitment to sustainable data center operations.

We employ a multi-region strategy selecting regions based on renewable energy availability and carbon intensity, supporting both Singapore's Green Plan 2030 and international carbon reduction goals.

08

Development Practices

Our development practices support sustainability through remote-first operations reducing commute-related emissions, digital documentation with paperless operations and digital-first workflows, and efficient CI/CD with optimized build pipelines that minimize compute time and resource usage.

As a Singapore-based company, we align with the nation's Smart Nation initiative and sustainable technology practices while serving customers globally.

09

Carbon Footprint Tracking

We are committed to measuring and reporting our environmental impact by tracking cloud infrastructure carbon emissions using AWS Customer Carbon Footprint Tool, monitoring energy consumption across development and production environments, and publishing annual sustainability reports starting in 2026.

10

Key Metrics

We track the following sustainability metrics: Carbon emissions per API call (gCO2e/request), Energy consumption per compute hour (kWh/hour), Percentage of workloads running in renewable energy regions, and Resource utilization efficiency (CPU, memory, storage).

11

Customer Enablement

We help our customers achieve their sustainability goals through deployment flexibility supporting on-premises and air-gapped deployments for customers with existing renewable energy infrastructure, efficiency tools providing observability and optimization tools that help customers reduce their infrastructure footprint, and carbon reporting offering carbon accounting APIs and ESG reporting capabilities across our product suite.

12

Future Commitments

As we scale, we commit to achieving carbon neutrality for our operations by 2028, sourcing 100% renewable energy for our cloud infrastructure by 2027, publishing annual sustainability reports with third-party verification, integrating carbon impact metrics into all product dashboards by 2026, and supporting customer carbon reduction initiatives through product innovation.

We align our commitments with Singapore's Green Plan 2030, the Paris Agreement, and international sustainability frameworks including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

13

Industry Collaboration

We actively participate in industry initiatives focused on sustainable technology including Green Software Foundation principles and practices, Cloud Carbon Footprint open-source project, and Sustainable computing research and standards development.

We engage with Singapore's sustainability ecosystem including the National Environment Agency (NEA), Enterprise Singapore sustainability programs, and regional ASEAN initiatives for sustainable technology development.
